In early January, Dropcam announced the new WiFi enabled security camera that could be used to monitor events remotely at your home or office. I had been looking for such a camera and ordered one immediately.
The camera arrived 10 days ago and, I must say, the Dropcam is a terrific product. The camera quality is excellent. Setup and configuration are straightforward. I have been monitoring the activities of my Ragdoll cat, Macavity, using an app on my iPhone.
One nice feature: if there is movement in the camera zone, I receive an email and a text message on my phone alerting me to the motion - so I can check on events remotely.
